The project (Phase I) of wet-process line for post insulators in Suqian was completed.

Jiangsu High-voltage Porcelain Insulator Engineering Research Center and Suzhou Porcelain Insulator Works (Suqian) Co., Ltd. were approved.

The provincial enterprise technology center in SPIW was approved and set up.

The second-stage project, which is isostatic pressing process innovation for the production of large insulators, was completed.

The first-stage project, which is relocation to SIP and technological innovation, was completed.

Suzhou Porcelain Insulator Works was reformed and renamed itself Suzhou Porcelain Insulator Works Co., Ltd.

Suzhou Porcelain Insulator Works was founded.
